Rock climbing has never been more popular than right now, and in the greater Wellington region our gyms Hangdog and Faultline can provide the thrill of rock climbing to you!
Established in 1999, Hangdog is one of the first climbing gyms in all of New Zealand. Created as a little hole in the wall for climbing, it now has its own bouldering walls, climbing clubs and a tight-knit community eager to bring new climbers into the sport.
Faultline was opened to the public in early 2024. Placed on Willis Street, it has nearly three times as much bouldering space as Hangdog for a pure bouldering experience.
Try a mix of rock climbing and bouldering with Hangdog, and get deep into bouldering at Faultline. Whatever your fitness or skill level is, we have a climb waiting for you!
