SECONDARY SCHOOL CHAMPS 2025
24 July 2025: 9.30am - 2.30pm
On the 24th of July, Faultline is hosting the Wellington Secondary School Bouldering Series. Taking place from 9.30am to 2.30pm, this is an exclusive competition for Highschool students to send hard and watch some sick climbing (and get the day off school!) This comp is ideal for all levels of climbing ability with the only requirement being able to climb a 1-2 easily, but we only have 100 tickets on offer so sign up quick.
QUALIFIERS:
Register via your PE teacher or Sports Director. See below for more info.
The qualifier round is aimed at everyone of all abilities. This is a score-yourself climbing session. You can climb any climb you like in the gym, including from grade 1-2 and upwards. Everyone is good enough to participate in the qualifiers.
No judges, no time limits, no pressure.
Compulsory briefing at 9:40am.
The two hour qualifier round starts at 10am.
FINALS:
Finals will begin at 12.45pm and last about 90 minutes, with the top six climbers of each gender competing on six custom problems (three per gender).
They will be formally judged on these on a special custom set on our comp wall; Rock and a Hard Place. And even if you're not in finals, remember to stick around to watch the show and support!
